This is a collection of personal comics I’ve made to express the lore and emotion of characters (mostly my own) and to show what makes their minds tick, plus attempts of illustrating dialogue with emotion and camera shots.
Young Pierrot And His Mom
This is a comic explaining why Pierrot has such a deep attachment with the moon.

One Last Stand
Harlequin has one last one night stand with a woman who he doesn’t know the name of, afterwards they talk to each other, resulting in Harlequin’s perspective on life to change drastically for the better.

Pierrot’s Emotional Connection
In their late teens, Harlequin is concerned about Pierrot’s uncontrolled drinking problem and attempts to knock some sense into him, since his previous methods proved ineffective. Despite being heavily intoxicated, Pierrot realizes Harlequin comes from a place of care and concern and remembers this event just enough to keep this perspective in mind for the future.

Pierrot’s Final Thoughts
Pierrot is close to giving up and is writing what he believes is his final diary entry, listing his pain, his plans on running away, and his unfinished business he needs to wrap up before moving forward with his plan. This is a borderless comic meant to be read left to right, up to down.

Harlequin and Pierrot Meet
This is a comic taking place when Harlequin and Pierrot are 11 and 12 years old respectively, where they meet for the first time. Pierrot is selectively mute and Harlequin has the ability to read Pierrot’s body language, his facial expressions, and the sounds he makes to such an uncanny degree that it acts as basic mind reading. This allows Harlequin to be able to translate Pierrot’s thoughts rather effectively and have him be his translator. This is the moment they encounter one another for the first time and Harlequin realizes this connection.

On The Edge Of The Mists
This is a personal illustration of a hidden dialogue option in the Guild Wars 2 End Of Dragons expansion pack, spoken by the main antagonist Ankka over a recording device. She is currently adrift in the Mists, which acts as the game’s dimenional in-between and afterlife. This is Ankka giving her thoughts about her existence and lists another side to her motive just before she comes back into the main dimension to carry out her plan. The character, dialogue, and “mists” all belong to ArenaNet.
